When you're main healing End Game using a controller, feel free to come back with video in hand. ![]() So yeah, it kind of looks like you made more work for yourself by making this thread, since there's a multitude of answers from reputable sites. WoW cannot be played PROPERLY at HIGH LEVELS using a joystick.ĭe80well i tried to search after the answear, all i found was 20 websides trying to give me a nude picture of a woman. You wanted to argue over semantics? Ok then. At higher levels i might not be able to use the joystick, but now i am and im enjoying wow as much as i never have done before. ^&*! 'emĪnd (cough) wow cant be played with a joystick? hmm, i wonder what i got in my hands, dpsing in normal UK. When I first set out to do it, they told me that too. Oh, and ignore everyone here that tells you you can't play WoW with a controller, I've done it. You can even bind a push-to-talk key to your controller and just use vent to eliminate typing. ![]() I was raiding with it and doing very well, no one would have known I was using a controller.īy combining elements of your controllers macro software, specifically keystroke emulation, keybindings, in game macros and your UI this can become very very possible. However, I sacrificed two spells on my shoulder button (left and right shoulder nomod) to cycle through targets very quickly. I forget whatever else I had bound, my controller actually had six face buttons and six shoulder buttons so I had four action bars worth of button sets. Start is Esc and Select reset the mouse to the middle of the screen. Click the right joystick for right click. With the face buttons and the shoulders this effectively gives you get four sets of eight buttons, use your left joystick for movement and your right for mouse x/y. You can even use a bar mod to orient them to where they physically are on your controller. Whats even better is that since the #showtooltip is in there, when you press the Dpad your entire bar will change to show what spells you have on them, then you can name those macros with like A, B, X, Y, LShould, LBump, RShould, RBump to help you know what spells are on what. This will give you cast "sets" so your common rotation on like the nomod of the 8 buttons and situational spells on the others. Then (at least on my controller software, forget what one I used to use) bind the following sort of thing to your D-Padĭpad down = release last Dpad if pressed(can be substituted for release all Dpad buttons if your controllers macro software doesn't support it,) press Ctrlĭpad left = release last Dpad if pressed, press Altĭpad right = release last Dpad if pressed, press Shift I want it to be fixed already.Įdit, when i disable stuff and do it, its when the vehicle bar brings up a big ole vehicle abilities bar, but i have my vehicle bar enabled in bartender and i see the release vehicle big red arrow with bartender 4, just no abilities.Bind macros to all your buttons, macros like this: Incidently, when they zombie thing was going on I didnt get into it at all as much as I'd like to cause zombie spells had the same problem /sad. I have tried to mess with enabling and disabling different bars and looking around Bartender 4 a bit, and some people I play with are all like "I use it, mine is fine" but they have no idea why or how to tell me to get mine to do that, so bascially, anyone have this problem and remedy it in the bartender interface, or know how to direct me to getting this to work? But for some reason when I get changed into the skele on the last boss of Drak Theron Keep or when I am on a WG tank, I think its when the top bliz UI bar changes to the pet bar instead of getting a pet bar, well, bartender wont change too, so I am SOL. On a lot of vehicles I get the proper "pet bar", I can trust the spear and stomp undead in ZD and fly a maly drake.
